TYPF’s research and engagement with young men and boys in Uttar Pradesh has shown a need for programme designs that address their intersecting realities on the basis of gender, sexuality, caste, class, religion and ability. Since the pandemic has also drastically impacted the lives of men and boys, it becomes imperative to understand how programmes already working with them have responded to these shifting realities. Therefore, this study focuses primarily on the impact of COVID-19 on development programmes working with young men and boys on various issues, specifically in the context of Uttar Pradesh, with the aim to inform future delivery of such programs as well as create better preparedness among program implementers and other stakeholders.
